Occupational Therapy

Baby Playing with Building Blocks

Jessica offers individual and group occupational therapy services to children and their relevant networks (e.g., school, parents or other therapists) to address delays that have become apparent throughout development. This may include challenges with performance of:

  • Self-care tasks: toileting, feeding, sleep, bathing and grooming

  • Social skills such as sharing, turn-taking and personal space

  • Gross motor skills including balance, coordination, core strength and body awareness

  • Fine motor skills including hand strength and grasp

  • Executive Functioning: self-monitor, emotional awareness and regulation, cognitive flexibility, task initiation, organisation, working memory and planning

At the commencement of occupational therapy intervention, a 1:1 parent/caregiver session is necessary and assessment individual to the need of each child will be completed.

Please note that services are currently offered in clinic, community or via tele-platform to private paying clients and those who are self-managed or plan-managed through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
